F1b Maltipoo is a first-generation backcross mixed dog breed that is obtained by breeding an F1 hybrid dog with a purebred parent breed. These designer dogs, if backcrossed with Poodles, will be 75% Poodle and only 25%, Maltese. In most cases, they are backcrossed with a Toy Poodle and produce a low shedding and hypoallergenic dog. These canines have adorable curly coats on their body. These dogs are smarter than other generations because of greater Poodle genetic participation. F1 Maltipoo is also hypoallergenic and non-shedding but F1b Maltipoo has greater chances of being hypoallergenic and non-shedding. They also wipe out bad genes by back-crossing with the purebred parent breed. 

F1b Maltipoo Temperament

The temperament of an F1b Maltipoo is more like Poodle because of greater genetic participation. They are intelligent and friendly like Poodles. They like to play with kids and spend quality time in the lap of their owners. They are not only friendly with kids but also with strangers and other pets. They are very good family dogs that are compatible with small houses and apartments. They can be trusted while playing with kids because they are not aggressive. They are cheerful hybrid dogs that are always eager to please their owner and kids. They are smarter than other generations of Maltipoo. Like Poodles, they are affectionate as well.

The size of an F1b Maltipoo is unpredictable. Their size varies from dog to dog within the generation. A size range for an adult Maltipoo can be estimated. This range includes weight up to 10 pounds and height from 10 inches to 12 inches. Their size is dependent on the size of their parent breeds involved in inbreeding. If they are backcrossed with a Toy Poodle, these dogs will be toy-sized. Their size is compatible with small houses and apartments. They can be kept in your lap for hours. F1b Maltipoo can be easily carried around for picnics, trips, and traveling. 

F1b Maltipoo Lifespan

The lifespan of an F1b Maltipoo is like other generations. On average, a healthy F1b Maltipoo lives a minimum of up to 10 years and a maximum of up to 15 years. This life expectancy can be extended for up to 17 years if they are provided with exceptional care. The hybrid dogs are healthier than purebred breeds. The same is the case with F1b Maltipoo. They are healthy dogs but still, some problems that affect their parent breeds can also affect their health. These problems need to be maintained otherwise can reduce their life expectancy and may lead to death before time. 

F1b Maltipoo Adoption

Adoption of an F1b Maltipoo hybrid dog is recommended for family people. They are very good family dogs and like to spend their time playing with kids and pets. They are also friendly with strangers. They do not require any special place in the house to live because they can easily adjust to a side of the house. They can be adopted from a hybrid expert, reputable breeder, and a pet shop.
