Maltipoo is a designer dog that is produced by cross-breeding a Toy Poodle with a Maltese. F1 is the first generation of Maltipoo that is obtained by breeding two purebred dog breeds. When an f1 Maltipoo is cross-bred with another f1 Maltipoo, they produce an f2 Maltipoo. They are attractive dogs having a visible sparkle in their eyes. The F2 Maltipoo is bred to obtain a successful non-shedding Maltipoo generation. There may be some health issues associated with them. But an F1b Maltipoos is healthier than an f2 Maltipoo. F2 Maltipoos have a weak structure of bones that can cause other problems.

The most common problems include Portosystemic Shunt, Epilepsy, Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease, Luxation, and White Shaker Syndrome. The adoption of an f2 Maltipoo is difficult because you have to get enough information regarding generations. Always look for an authorized, experienced, and educated breeder for the adoption of an f2 Maltipoo. These dogs are quite expensive, that’s why they are not easily available at pet shops. Their price ranges from 500 dollars to 2500 dollars. Rescue centers and shelter homes are a good option. Pet shops are usually not recommended because of less breed information. Online websites are selling these dogs with complete information. So you have to do some research before buying them. Do check the health profile of the dog before adoption.
