French lop rabbit breed, as its name indicates, originated from France. It is obtained by cross-breeding an English French lop and a Butterfly rabbit breed. French Lops are a heavy rabbit breed. They have a muscular body that is utilized mainly for meat purposes. Contrary to this, the Holland Lop rabbit breed is a miniature breed that is included among one of the World’s smallest rabbit breeds. They have a small size and have muscular body like French Lops. Despite their muscular and compact body, they are counted as one of the delicate rabbit breeds. Both French Lop and Holland Lop rabbit breeds mainly differ in their size.

    The temperament of both French Lops and Holland Lops are similar. Both Rabbit breeds are calm and gentle with kids. They like to play with them all the time. They have a very neutral nature that attracts everyone. Both French and Holland Lops are social rabbits and like to make new friends. Holland Lops are easier to handle but French Lops do not need extra care. Both these Rabbit breeds need time of their own to hop and play. They like to go out and spend their time playing in the yard whenever there is nice weather.

Usually, a Holland Lop rabbit is available for up to 40 dollars. Their average price range may vary from 20 dollars to 400 dollars depending upon the quality. French Lops are mostly adopted or purchased for meat whereas Holland Lops are purchased as pets.
