An f1 cavapoo is the mixed breed of Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Both the parent breeds are purebred, and together they produce a hybrid dog. F1 cavapoo is the first generation of dogs of the Cavapoo breed. They are 50 percent Poodle and 50 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are called half-blooded poodle dogs. F1 cavapoo is in high demand and is commonly adopted like other dog breeds. The effect of genes in cavapoo is not tremendous, so their traits differ accordingly. Their coats and shedding differ from dog to dog. Having 50 percent share from both parent breeds is like a flip coin to the resultant breed whose traits it gets.

    F1 Cavapoo Size

    The size of the f1 cavapoo depends on the size of parent breeds involved inbreeding. These dogs are available in four different sizes. The average height of a full-grown cavapoo is in the range of 12 inches to 14 inches. It becomes 30 cm to 35 cm from the shoulder. This height is not for all cavapoo dogs. They may be small or bigger than this height. A toy-sized cavapoo may have a height of 11 inches, i.e., 33 cm. A mini f1 cavapoo may measure 18 inches from the shoulder. It equals 45 cm from the shoulder.

    Talking about the lifespan of F1 cavapoo, these dogs live on average 15 years. Their life expectancy falls between 13 years to 15 years. The hybrid dogs usually have one or two years longer lifespan than purebred dogs. Size also plays a role in lifespan. Small-sized dogs tend to live longer than the large-sized dogs. The smaller size of f1 cavapoo is suitable for apartments, rooms, and homes. These dogs require proper care and attention to have a healthy life. A good quality food keeps them healthy and away from health problems. You should start feeding them probiotics and some supplements to make their immunity stronger.

    The adoption of an f1 cavapoo is not a hard task. These dogs are in high demand in the market because of their non-aggressive temperament and friendly behavior. Their small sizes also make them attractive and add plus points to their personality. These dogs are available at every adoption spot, including pet shops, adoption houses, rescue centers, shelter homes, and breeder websites. You have to do a little research before adopting these dogs. Check for the health condition of the dog before adopting it. If you are not having a hectic schedule of life, you should go for these adorable little dogs, but if you are facing a busy routine, these dogs are not for you.
