F2 Cavachon is the second generation of the Cavachon dog breeds. Cavachon is the hybrid dog breed that came into being after cross-breeding a Cavalier King Charles and a Bichon Frise. F2 Cavachon can be obtained by breeding an F1 Cavachon with another F1 Cavachon. These dogs are 50 per cent Bichon Frise and 50 per cent, Cavalier King Charles. Their temperament and appearance are somewhat unpredictable. This is the reason why people do not adopt F2; instead, they go for an F1 Cavachon. They possess the mix traits of both the purebred animal breeds. These dogs have a loving personality.

    The temperament of F2 Cavachon is the mix of both purebred parent breeds. They are famous for being nippy. They are non-aggressive dogs. The Cavachon puppies are not nippy. There is no discrimination in their love. They are always welcoming to people and other animals as well. They are happy dogs and can easily get familiar with strangers. They are also known as therapy dogs because of their gentle temperament. They are not counted as guard dogs. At the end of the day, they always look for a warm cuddle. These dogs need socialization at the early stage of life.

    F2 Cavachon Size

    The size of an F2 Cavachon varies according to the size of the parent dogs involved. Their purebred parent breeds are toy breeds, and for sure, their resultant breeds will also have small size. They are tiny dogs. The average height of an adult f2 Cavachon is in the range of 12 to 13 inches, and their average weight lies between 10 to 30 pounds. Their tiny/ small size makes them perfect for lapping. They are the best-suited lap dogs. Because of their small size, they can easily fit into small apartments and small houses. These dogs are not yappy; that’s why they are loved by everyone.

    F2 Cavachon Lifespan

    The f2 Cavachon is a hybrid dog breed. Their average lifespan is 10 to 15 years. This lifespan is the best average lifespan of small-sized dogs. The purebred animal breeds may have some health issues that are transferred to the f2 Cavachon. These dogs are not immune to health issues. The common problem seen with these dogs is an ear infection. They have floppy ears that are inherited from their parent breeds. Other health problems include murmuring of the heart, eye problems, flea allergies, and cataracts. The most serious health problem is Mitral Valve disease. All these health issues can shorten their life.

    F2 Cavachons are not adopted frequently. These dogs are unpredictable in terms of temperament and traits. They can be adopted from rescue centers. Online websites are serving people by breeding on demand. If you need an f2 Cavachon through a breeder, then always look for an experienced breeder. You should have information about all the generations of F2 Cavachon. Pet shops are not recommended pickup points of F2 Cavachon. There are multiple health issues associated with these dogs so, always look for a healthy dog. Overall their personality is so gentle that you won’t regret adopting them.
