F3 Cockapoo Temperament, Size, Lifespan, Adoption

F3 cockapoo is the third generation of the cockapoo dog breeds. These dogs are obtained by cross-breeding an f2 cockapoo with another f2 cockapoo. This is not the only way to produce an f3 cockapoo. There are several other ways that lead to the production of a multi-generation or a third-generation cockapoo. These dogs are a mix of Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. These two breeds are the mother breeds of cockapoo dog. So, they possess the characteristics of both the parent breeds. An f2 cockapoo is 50 percent Poodle and 50 percent Cocker Spaniel. So, the same genetics may be seen in f3 cockapoo.

    F3 cockapoo Temperament

F3 cockapoo is the mix of two F2 cockapoo dogs. Their mother breeds are Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. The traits and temperament of dogs are all dependent on the genes of parent breeds. These dogs are gentle and kind. Kids can live with them without any fear of hurting. They are non-aggressive dogs. They need physical activity or exercise on a daily basis. If they do not get any attention and time to play, they may become physically inactive and mentally ill. They need socialization at the initial phase of life. This socialization makes them friendly with people and other animals.

    F3 cockapoo Size

Like the other two generations of a cockapoo, the f3 generation is also available in four different sizes. The size of the mother dog and father dog matters a lot to determine the size of the resultant dog. If the parents are miniature, their pup will be miniature as well. A toy-sized cockapoo is 10 inches in height from the shoulders. Their size may increase or decrease. They are available in teacup size as well. Their hot-selling sizes are toy and standard. If you are going to buy them as a companion dog, then the standard size will be suitable for you (19 kg weight and 15 inches height)

    F3 cockapoo Lifespan

The lifespan of all the generations of cockapoo is 13 years to 15 years. These hybrid designer dogs live longer than their parent breeds. Their health may face some issues due to genetics. Their parent breeds have some health issues that can be transferred to their mix pup. These dogs may live longer if they are provided proper care and attention. A healthy diet and exercise may add up some years to their lifespan. Having physical activity on a daily basis keeps them mentally and physically strong. They are not choosy about their living place. They can easily adjust to an apartment, home, and offices.

    F3 cockapoo Adoption

The adoption of f3 cockapoo is not common. Their adoption requires too much information and knowledge about generations. Always look for a puppy according to your lifestyle and needs. The best adoption spot for f3 cockapoo is a rescue center. Other than this, online websites and shelter homes are preferred. Pet shops are not a good option for an f3 cockapoo adoption. There may be some health issues associated with these dogs so, always look for a healthy puppy. The dogs at rescue centers are a bit cheap and trained. You don’t need to put your hard efforts to train the basics.
