F1b Spoodle is a backcrossed designer dog breed that can be obtained by crossbreeding a first-generation or F1 Poochon with a purebred Poodle parent breed. These dogs share 25 percent genetics from Cocker Spaniel and 75 percent from purebred Poodle. There are several other names to Spoodle and some of the common names are, Cockapoo, Cockerdoodle, Cockerpoo, or Cocker Spaniel Poodle mix. They are happy dogs and show friendliness with almost everyone. As they are 75 percent Poodle, so they do not shed a lot and hypoallergenic as well. They are suitable to be adopted by those who have moderate to severe allergies.

    The temperament of an f1b Poochon is a mix of both Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. They are intelligent dogs like Poodles and it makes their training a piece of cake. They are highly energetic and always looking for someone to play with. They are very social dogs that are always looking forward to making new friends. Besides being energetic, they are also very cuddly. They can spend hours in their owner’s lap. These canines are always good with kids and other pets in the house.     F1b Spoodle Size

    The size of an f1b Spoodle is dependent mainly on the size of Poodle used in crossbreeding. If a toy-sized Poodle is used, the size of a Spoodle will be 10 inches in height and up to 12 pounds in weight. If a mini Poodle is used as a parent breed, the size of a Spoodle will be 13 inches or so in height and 12 to 22 pounds in weight. In the case of a Standard Poodle, the size of a Spoodle is 15 to 16 inches in height and their weight is up to 22 pounds or more.

    The lifespan of an f1b Spoodle is up to 10 years. There are multiple factors that affect the life expectancy of a dog. F1b Spoodle is a designer dog and lives a longer lifespan as compared to purebred parent breeds. F1b Spoodles are less prone to genetic health problems that may frequently affect the purebred parent breeds. These dogs require grooming on a regular basis because of low shedding. They also require proper diet and exercise that is essential for a healthy life and a longer lifespan. After completing the years of their life, they may die a natural death. 

    F1b Spoodle Adoption

    F1b Spoodles are recommended for those who have moderate to severe allergies. These canines are good for kids and other pets as well. So, if you are an animal lover and like to keep multiple pets in the house, these dogs are a perfect fit for you. Other than this, they require your attention and time. If you are a busy person and cannot spare time for an f1b Spoodle, these dogs are not for you. Pet shops and reputable breeders are the two main adoption points. If you want a cheaper adoption, you may contact a rescue center or a shelter home.
