    The colour of their coat may undergo premature greying of hair and lose their colour. When they reach the age of 4 to 5 years, their hair starts losing its colour and turns to white.

    Toy poodles are especially prone to patellar subluxation. Other than eye problems, epilepsy is found to be the second most common problem found in poodles.

    Toy poodles are also used as utility dogs. They may show up in the circus and show rings. They are kept as companion dogs as well.

    The average price of a toy poodle is more than 5 dollars. They are non-shedders and hypoallergenic. So, they require regular grooming for coat maintenance. Their grooming requires money that may put up extra cost other than buying.

    Toy poodles are good with other animals like guinea pigs and cats. They are also friendly with kids and adults. They are very affectionate and lively dogs. Their goal is to make their people happy.

    They are mood changers. They are used as perfect companion dogs. They are suitable to be kept in a small apartment if they are provided with proper indoor exercise and physical activity.

    They are also very good guard dogs. They bark very high. With barking, they can easily alert their people about visitors and strangers. They are non-aggressive dogs.

    Grooming

    The toy poodles need grooming every six months. They are non-shedders and are suitable for people having allergies. Their coat needs to be cut regularly for its appealing appearance and cleaning purposes.
