Rottweiler Poodle mix (Rottle) Temperament, Size, Adoption, Lifespan

A Rootle is a non-popular hybrid breed. It is produced as a result of crossbreeding a Poodle with a Rottweiler. A miniature or standard-sized Poodle is usually used to create Rottle. Depending upon the size of parent breeds, the size of Rootle varies from medium to large. They are lovely pets that like to play with kids. They are suitable for a family. Additionally, these dogs serve as guard dogs. They are friendly with kids, pets, and strangers. Because Poodle is a parent breed, they are hypoallergenic and suitable for people having moderate allergies. You cannot easily find them at rescue stations.

    Rottle Temperament

The temperament of a Rottle is affectionate, kind, but brave. They are sweet-natured. They are most comfortable with kids. They are playful dogs who like to play with other pets and kids all day long. They are fun-loving creatures. They bear a funny personality and gentle behavior. Training is an essential requirement for dogs, but in Rootle dogs, they are natural protectors. They do not need to be trained because they already get protective when strangers are around. These beautiful pets have hunting instincts as well. They may follow any wildlife roaming around them.

These dogs like to live within a family and play all day. They are friendly with other pets and kids. They are not aggressive, but still, kids need to be trained to play with them. Training pets is also necessary. Otherwise, they may get defensive against others. They are hard to find at rescue centers because of the unpopularity of the breed.

    Rottle Lifespan

The Rottle dog breed is medium to large. They live a shorter lifespan than small-sized dogs. On average, these beauties live from 8 years to 10 years.
