Cava- Tzu is a mixed dog breed that is obtained by cross-breeding two entirely different and interesting dog breeds. The parent breeds of Cava- Tzu are Shih Tzu and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They mostly look like the latter one but it always depends on the genetic dominance. Cava- Tzu is beautiful by appearance and the available colors are white, black, tan, brown, and ruby. All these colors are attractive. Sometimes they are available as a mix of two or three different colors. Overall they are small-sized dogs. The size of a female dog varies from the male one.

    The average size of a Cava- Tzu is small. The size variation depends upon the size of the parent breeds involved in crossbreeding. The actual size of a hybrid dog breed is unpredictable but can be estimated. So, the estimated average height of a Cava- Tzu falls within the range of 9 inches to 18 inches. This height is measured from the shoulder. Talking about their weight, their estimated average weight falls within the range of 10 pounds to 16 pounds. Their small size is compatible to be kept in an apartment or flat. They can be easily carried on international tours and trips. 

    Cava-Tzu Lifespan

    The lifespan of a Cava- Tzu is estimated to be in the range of 10 years to 15 years. This life expectancy is perfect for a small-sized dog. They are intentionally bred to obtain a healthy dog with the best traits. So, Cava- Tzu is healthier as compared to its parent breeds. There are always chances of inheritance of genetic health issues. The main health problems that a Cava- Tzu may suffer from include kidney issues, liver issues, and joint issues.
